ELCAN Optical Technologies' Málaga facility (Raytheon Microelectronics España, S.A) was established in 1992 within the prestigious Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía. The PTA is a technological nucleus, incorporating the University of Málaga, established to foster the development and application of cutting-edge technology and within Spain's growing technology industry.

The Málaga facility was incorporated into ELCAN Optical Technologies in 2003 by our parent, the Raytheon Company. This advanced electronics facility expanded ELCAN's capabilities to include complete electronic manufacturing and assembly services and has allowed ELCAN to better service our European customers and offer valuable Spanish offset defence credits.

ELCAN Málaga has a highly qualified, well-trained, skilled and experienced workforce of more than 200 employees and operates in a 61,400 square foot modern facility. This facility offers its customers all over the world the best quality products and highest value optoelectronic assembly services, whole project management service, protoyping, production and after-market service.
